Dr Pradip Goswami

Founder and Director

Dr. Pradip Goswami graduated from NRS Medical College, Calcutta, in 1991. After finishing his Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from R G KAR Medical College, he relocated to the United Kingdom in 1997. Having achieved MRCOG in 2001 and completing his training in General Obstetrics & and Gynaecology, he had undergone Structured Special Skills Training in Maternal and Fetal Medicine under the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of the UK. He was put on the Specialist Registrar of GMC-UK after being awarded a Completion Certificate of Specialist Training (CCT) by the UK Postgraduate Medical Education & Training Board in November 2006. Thereafter, he came back to Kolkata. In the year 2013, Dr. Goswami achieved RCOG/RCP.

Working over past several years in Kolkata, he has established himself as a leading Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in West Bengal through his compassionate patient centric approach, world standard evidence based care, along with his clinical and counselling skills.

As a Key Fetal and Maternal Medicine Specialist in Eastern India, he established ‘Fetomat’ in 2013. It has now developed into a Tertiary Referral Centre cum Training Institute of Fetal Medicine and moved into a bigger site in 2017.

In 2021, he established Fetomat Fertility and IVF Clinic with a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility.

As a Lead Clinician of a team of more than thirty doctors and support staffs, he has established the concept of group practice in women’s care in Kolkata
